After seeing Laura's Belfast Boatyard painting, I thought Home Port (16X20 Acrylic) might go well with it. Home Port has a foggy afternoon in New England feel to it. Comments?

Hey!!! Good job here. Good composition and detail.
My only teeny tiny nit is that the land in the distance reads as water possibly due to lack of definition between the two, although that is what you get with fog eh?

Where I live we have fog from November through February, not at all like the coastal variety. Indeed water and land look a lot alike with fog rolling in. The picture that inspired this piece had (gag..shudder) snow all over everything, thats why I did it with fog.. To me it loks more natural. Thanks for the kind words.

I love all the different tones of grey you've used ; it's strong and harmonious!
