Those eyes are fantastic and totally contrast with the surreal composition by giving a flash of realism. I always love the texture you create with yours. I too use a gesso base under my acrylics to break the surface. There's just something about texture that grabs me.

Your choice of background colors are interesting. You can't tell if it's day or night, which just adds to the overall surreal feel of it.

The eyes depict a lonelyness. A longing. A waiting. Wonderful portrayal of emotion in the midst of play. :)

Tam....thank you for looking and commenting. I am pleased that you did notice the day/evening background. I wanted it to be amiguous. The eyes are surreal...a world of their own.
