I find the colors and comp very interesting. The subect intersts me also, but I want to cogitate on that some more.

Any chance of getting a close up of the lower right corner? Looks interesting but I want some details.

What a stunning composition!!! And the colors are wonderfully integrated. Although it's really a limited palette: black, red, blue, yellow, white (and some mixed areas in between), its intricacies bears the illusion of so much more. As always, your composition as a whole can be separated into sections which would stand by themselves as a painting.

That's the basic beauty of yours. Each portion you look at is like looking at a painting, then combining all those lovely paintings into one masterpiece.

And, true to your style, each portion bears connection to the rest of the composition by signature of color or form, except, of course, that bottom middle panel which bears its own signature except for its cracked history of blue.

You know, there are many painters who drift through these screens, but I honestly hope you will be one that stays axxxel. I look forward to your posts. :)

Yes, this is a strong composition. Really good movement and color as well. I also like the combination of representational and surreal forms. My only concern is the weight and variation of value of the dark lines throughout the painting. They appear to be the same and it gives the piece an overall flat appearance. Perhaps that is your intention however.

Hi Tam!

Until I can find nice people & fine artworks, I'll stay.... just like you, isn't ? ;)

Hi jkoehler

I'm agree with your analyse. I'll work on it. Thx !

Axxxel: I would love to just know ONE person in my personal life that can relate to what I do re: art. There's NO ONE. I mean people who view it appreciate it, a lot say it's beautiful but they don't have any idea what it is, ;) nor how it's created.

Sometimes I feel like I'm in a void. I just know that this place is a wonderful place to share and inspired me to delve into something I didn't know was in me. When there are no influences around you to encourage growth and development, then there is none.

BTW: I received my first check last night for "I Nekkid." A friend at church ( YES!!! I TOOK "I NEKKID" TO CHURCH AND SHOWED IT!!!!! HAHAHAAHAH) loved it and so I gave it to him free and willingly. He approached me later and gave me a very generous check and insisted that I take it as a commission.

I was so humbled.

I like this painting because I can view it several thousand times and still see more than the last time. I will not analyse the painting....but will just enjoy your work. I can tell this has taken some time and thought.

Dang it! In the big pic the little squares look like they have detailed stuff going on, and in the close up, I don't see that.
#@$%*& computers. Waaahhh!
(So do they have the detailed stuff or are they the simple little things that I see in the detail?) I hate not being able to see some things in RL, because so much gets lost.

It's not a problem of size. As I don't like it very much, I won't put it on my walls :(
