I like it. What program did you use and is it done from a photo? I really hate when you get a 0 the least they could do was tell you it sucks......in their mind.;)

I like the idea you have going here. Are you using Vue for the background? Your really peaking my interest in this software, with your posts. That water is awesome.

Thanks for the feedback!

The canopy is a digital photo and the water and moon were rendered in Vue. Then the whole thing was tweaked in PS.
This is part of a series I'm working on using the various parts of the human body as something other than what they are (e.g. the torso is a canopy).

I love Vue! It's very intuitive, good results, and it renders quite quickly! I've begun working a little with Terragen and it renders some stunningly realistic landscape but, like Bryce, the render time is huge!

Cheers!

Nick,

I like the concept but there was something about it that kept buggin' me. I had to come back a few times before it finally struck me; it was the title, "canopy". For me, it didn't completely reflect the image. I would have liked to have seen the arm closest to the moon moved further out into the water. Or maybe have the shot extended so that I could see the arms immersed in the water. I guess I want to see her "rooted" in the sea bed, casting a shadow or reflection on the surface. I think this would have given it more of a "canopy" feel for me.

Interesting and appreciated thoughts, oh wise cybernetic one. Time to revisit this in PS and see what can be rendered.

Thanks, Digi!
