Judging by this piece you're going to be a fantastic addition!!! I think it's beautiful. Upright she's the wind. Turned sideways she's a waterfall.
It's a beautiful useage of white contrasted with the depth of colors. Your blend and balance are wonderful.
p.s. - is there any difference in the posts? i can't really tell if there is.

Beautiful work of art. Like Tam said, it is a waterfall when turned and is my favorite view.
What medium did you use? My favorite colors!!!

I currently use LeFranc & Bourgeois, Sennelier and Schminke Mussini oils ( transparent colors ). I'm always experimenting with different mediums. Currently I use a pretty traditional medium of Boiled linseed oil, damar varnish and turp. I rub the entire canvas each succesive layer with the medium and apply the paint straight from the tube. I don't mix medium directly into the paint since I like to apply a stiff paint. I work primarlily with knives and large brushes.
