Ah, I switch mediums too often. I love to doodle and knew that a regular ink pen would never do for art, so I invested in some black acid-free archival pens. I've already used up one pen in two days I was so happy with my new toy :p

This drawing being my second, I got carried away with the lines. By the time I got to the third, I pared back all the extra ink. And as I moved along, I found a pretty good balance in what I wanted. But always refining. :D

Yay!!!! Finally!!! You're playing! See, you jes' needed a new toy's all!! :D

These are terrific. The borders add without detracting from the focal points at all. What a beautiful imagination and sense of balance. :D

Do you plan on painting any of them? I really like them the way they are, but can't wait to see what you're up to!!

Welcome back!!! :D

Thank you, Tamana.
I considered it, but no, I don't intend to paint them.

Thanks, Nina, Rick, Dahzl.
I've had lots of fun doing them.

oh! very cool! Am I wrong in thinking that these have a sort of Art Nouveau feel to them?

Thank you Brushstroked, axxxel.
Art nouveau, I wasn't sure and looked it up. Defined as an art with lots of curvature. But then there's art Deco, defined by bold geometric shapes and colors such as black n white. So, yes, I think it is. Or both. Or maybe I'll just call it Deco-Nouveau :D
I'd say you called it right. :)
Thanks again.

These remind me of ancient pottery decorations. The black and white has a great impact and the spirals and swirly thingies keep it moving.
