That morning of February 10, 1926 Buenos Aires dawned convulsed. Thousands of people crowded trams, cars and carriages to go to the port area, and announcing the arrival of "Plus Ultra", a seaplane Dornier Wal Spanish air force that completed and the first air travel between Spain and Argentina in 7 stages and with a distance of 10,270 kilometers. By then, a remarkable fact.
Their pilots were Ramσn Franco Bahamonde and Julio Ruiz de Alda along the mechanic Pablo Rada who were decorated by the King Alfonso XIII and received extraordinary tributes here, especially the Spanish community that lived moments of euphoria.
Visitors to the museum Lujαn (Buenos Aires) may see this extraordinary aircraft, donated by Spain to Argentina in memory of this memorable feat. –
