I've tried everything to upload my id pic but nothing works. I use the gif format and 60 x 60 pixels and I've tried about 50 times!
What am I doing wrong - it's probably something blindingly obvious as I'm new to computers. Please help or I'll have to give up!

Thanks for the info Phillis, unfortunately, I have followed it several times - still no success. I have save as gif and 60 x 60 so I give up!

Don't give up!
Check that you're not saving your gif file as interlaced.

Thanks for help Sandra - sorry you're dealing with a real computer dumb head here?
What's interlaced? I've a feeling my prob is something to do with saving as a gif.

When you chose to save or export as a gif, you may see an option to interlace. Make sure this is not selected.
If you have your image as a jpeg, email it to me and I'll try creating the gif for you.
best wishes

Thanks ever so much for the offer Sandra - Animal had a go and guess what - it worked (see new user forum). I had to drag the image out of his e.mail with the mouse and do it that way. I think the prob is that I saved and re-saved. I've been told I need some software like Photoshop to save gifs as I've been saving them from the scanner as jpegs and resaving them - my software doesn't support gifs I've been told, but apparently Photoshop/Paintshop pro and that kinda stuff does - so I'm going to invest! This is probably all really obvious to most people but the internet revolution has only just reached me!
Many thanks for the support.
