Hi,
I can't get a picture to load as a tinyhead icon.I used Paint to convert it to gif format and I shrunk it down to less than 60 pixels in either direction yet I keep getting the message that the profile editor won't accept the image. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,Shawn

Shawn:
The image has to be exactly 60x60 pixels and not a transparent GIF. If you are having a lot of problems, send me the original jpg and I'll convert and send it back to you.

Thanks Roan,
I finally got it working, I didn't realize it had to be exactly 60 x 60, I just thought it couldn't be larger.Next question:How do I shrink an image down rather than crop it to make the 60 by 60 format?
Regards,Shawn

Paint, Paint, hrm, hope that's MS Paint -- if so, here's how:
Go to Image and select Attributes and you'll see two boxes for the width and height to resize the image. Make sure you have "Pixels" selected.
Let me know if that's the wrong program or it doesn't work.
Have fun :P

Hi Roan,
I don't know if it's ms paint,it's the paint that comes with windows me.Anyway,I tried selecting the pixel size from attributes and for some strange reason my program crops the image instead of shrinking it.I'll keep experimenting anyway just for the challenge.
Thanks,Shawn

Me too Roan, puleeeez????????? Could you do mine too? I've been screwing with this thing all day, and I just can't seem to shrink it enough. I've just about given up, and I think I'll go headless, lol. If you would help this newbie, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks, Deborah

Deborah, Hi!
This thread's last post -before yours-, was on 02-20-2001, nevertheless the problem has been an active and ongoing issue all along..
Although, there have been many solutions posted for the same problem, they have been 'buried' under tons of new threads so they have remained hidden and become useless for instant help...
It's after seeing this excessive waste of time and forum's space, that I have started a project excellent for having fun, while learning how to make Your own Avatars for WetCanvas (http://www.wetcanvas.com//Community/Projects/index.php?cmd=view_details&proj_id=830 ), with plenty of links to tutorials and free software for a hard-to-beat treat, open to everyone!!...
Try it, you'll be an expery in no time, with the added advantage that you'll have your own Avatars Library, so you can switch avatars at will, just by referring to the avatar's address in the gallery...:)
You can go straight to take a peek at participant-members' contributions at The Gallery Exhibits (http://www.wetcanvas.com//Community/Projects/index.php?cmd=browse_final&proj_id=830)
