I agree... you should look into a career as a kids story book artist. Your work is very colourful and cheery. Kids would love it. You should even try writing and illustrating your own book.

I love this!! How big is it? Was it used in a book?

Thanks everybody!

Erin: I used 11x14 bristol board to work on for each panel. It wasn't for a book, however it was a children's project—a proposed stopmotion cartoon series.

D-Dog and Sher: Book illustration would be great to get involved in on a more steady basis. I have done a couple in the past, but they never went to publish.

Here's another in that series, this one has a little guache in it:

Wonderful and adorable pics, I agree with the others, you should illustrate children's books!

You definitely have a talent for illustration. These have an old cartoon feel about them. Todays cartoons/animations are too slick for my taste. Give me an old Tweety Bird or Wally Gator, and I am happy:D I like these a great deal.

straightaway these make me think of Brer Rabbit stories...
AND the top one makes me smile..and they both tell a story all by themselves..I always thought that was very clever...
I love these...the detail, the expressions...  :cat:

WOw! I am impressed with the work that went into these. Why not illustrate your own book?
