As school is getting close to starting up again I thought I'd share a little tidbit of knowledge that I've happened to come last summer. Everyone who has attended college or a university knows that textbooks can be, and those studying art have the added expense of art supplies. So I figured now might be a good time to share about Half.com which is a part of Ebay actually but a bit different. You are able to sell and buy new or used textbooks and unlike with the school's bookstore has a set percentage you get back, here you can set the price you think it is worth. Meaning you can also buy a later addition of the same textbook for a class at a lot less than the bookstore would charge you too. So it is a very good system for both the buyer and seller. Unlike Ebay there isn't bidding, you find what you want you are able to buy it then and there. There is also a percentage of the finally selling price that the seller has subtracted from their total. But this is a great way to save some money or even earn some money when it comes with school. I just thought this little bit of knowledge might be useful for some people here.
