GENERAL INFORMATION:
Title: Still Waters
Year Created:
Medium: Oil
Surface: Board
Dimension: 8 X 8
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!

MY COMMENTS:
The client wanted one to accompany Parting Clouds (one to the left). New painting (to the right) appears slightly darker than it really is.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Do you think I should add some rays that go down to the water in the new one? C & C welcome. Thanks in advance.

You've got two beauties here. Personally, I would leave the second one alone...

Thanks for commenting DW and Bill. Will leave as is, which will please Greenie, who is always after me to - 'leave lone' :)

Lovely work but I do have one suggestion. The bank where the water fetches up is a strong horizontal. Breaking that up either by showing a curve or just some irregularities might get you an improvement.

I think that the colors and the composition are beautiful this reminds me of a river somewhere out west. I think you should leave it as is.

I agree with Bob, but I love it, delightful colours! I would give slight more irregularity to the right inlets as you have done with the first one, bring one across slightly more, otherwise it's great. Love the colours and work with light. Awesome work. =)) cheers! Debs.

Thank you, Deb, Heidi, and TG. Will re-think about changing the strong line on the right - I may have Greenie to answer to :) Appreciate the comments.
