Neoart used dry on brown paper 36x48cm

Funny sideeffect of waxcrayons:
If you softly polish these waxdrawings with a cloth it will become fixed by a hard shiny toplayer; right the same effect you get by polishing furniture with wax.

very flamincoish! Really, I like it...only thing is the dark line at the corner of her mouth...it lines up with her neck line and seems too harsh...I do love the movement you get with your strokes!

Queston? Where did you learn about using brown paper? Very dynamic.

Thank you Dyin, Marilyn, Smudge and Nina,
Marilyn I happened to stumble upon this paper at my artdealer's;

And in the meantime also bought a bigger pad.

Nice work, Dick.

Since we can only see the top half of her, it's impossible to tell whether she's dancing as well. From the title, I guess not.

I've used brown paper as a support for charcoal, but not for pastels (it's only oil pastels I work with so far anyway, but might be worth trying). The polishing trick is worth knowing too.
