I'm going to give my first response to this delightful painting - it makes me feel good because it carries such a sunny, happy feeling. Thanks for posting one of your paintings for us to enjoy.:music:

A room anyone would feel happy being in!

The only crit I might suggest is to look at this from about 3 to 4 feet (or a meter {?}) and check the values. Squinting also a good way to check. It seems to be needing just a wee bit more value range. A sharp dark (blue-ish) fine lines here and there will sharpen the image. At this size it is easy to over-do the shadows, less is more.

I do like this piece. Is it your home? If so, you are a lucky person.

Yes, I would love living there too!

Agree some sharpening here and there and dark values, but keep the softness that creates such a warm, glowing atmosphere.

Nice 'feelgood'-painting. It's spreading the atmosphere you wanted, I guess. I agree with Birdhs on the colourvalues. Would make it even better! But I can outnumber far more reasons to be proud on this one!

Nice job. Certainly looks like a sunny and warm room. Could stand a little more detail of the shrubbs to the left of the door.

Lovely feel to this, thank you for sharing such a sunny aspect.
The Engineer in me wants to see what happens when the french door is closed., the Artist says leave it open :)
