I like the gathering of colors in this one. Nice work.

Nice job of using brush work to suggest a sweeping vortex in the "spirit realm". You did a good job, but I wouldn't want it in my house; too ookie!! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
So I guess you achieved your goal.

A deep paint user!

I'd love to hear your opinion of it compared to painter. I tried the demo when I had access to copy of photoshop. Given your experience with natural media, I'd love to hear what you would say about DP!

BTW, scary picture, reminds me of Kelly Freas...

Ok, here is my opinion on Deep Paint. I have never found an application that was everything and usually always end up using multiple apps to get a piece done. Deep Paint is NOT Painter. Painter is overall a better program, but Deep Paint has some nice features that Painter doesn't. The dry media brushes in Deep Paint are one of them. Painters brushes can lag when you go over a certain size and that can hamper spontaneity. I suggest that you experiement with Deep Paint and keep it around as an option. I recommend Deep Paint as another app to have on the shelf to fill out your studio. For the painted look, I still choose Painter as the app of first choice.

This one was totally painted out of my imagination. I used Deep Paint dry media for the whole thing. Deep Paints ability to allow rapid expressive strokes which gave me the ability to express the energy I wanted.

Scared me too http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Looks like a neat program!! Is it a program on it's own or an add-on to another program. Like the colors and the way they blend and swirl in this piece of work. Great halloween picture! :)
