I read a lot here about people using Photoshop.
Does anyone work with the Corel Products?
I have all sorts of Graphics programs including Photoshop but find myself being drawn http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif back to Corel again and again.
I may post some of my digital stuff for your amusement.
Just curious...

I have both Adobe and Corel programs, but I find I'm the opposite to you http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Photoshop unfailingly drags me back to it, nomatter how hard I try to branch out and use Photo Paint instead. I don't think I have the latest versions of either program (PS 5.0, PP 9), but for me Shop seems easier to use and capable of more than the other...of course that's probably because I've used it extensively and Paint hardly at all.
If anyone has the time, I'd be interested to know what the pros and cons of each program are.

Wow, good to see some other Corel advocates. I thought I was the only one. I've been using Corel since V.5 also and it is like my right hand at work as well as with my artwork. I work for a LARGE web design company where all the designers use Photoshop and I, alone, use Corel... and I'll tell you what, its been proved that I can pop out better designs faster and easier than any of them with my trusty Corel products on hand! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

I agree, it IS nice to see other "Corel-ers" here!
Which versions are you all using?
I just got my hands on v.9 after using v.8 for quite some time.
I also use PaintShop Pro.
Anyone wanna bite on that one?

Cheers!

Nick

I now use Corel 10.. as of the DAY it came out http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif I tried PSP a while back and never really liked it. I find that Corel PhotoPaint can do ANYTHING I could ever need!
