She is really getting some fun entries in that project! I havent played with all of the painter features, like the image hose. I am still learning my way around that program.

How did you make the light sources?

Way cool, Thanks for this. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/cool.gif

I must make a piece of art everyday for my own well being.

I used the "Apply Lighting" effect called "shafts". I wasn't satisfied with the results so I added additional shafts by using the bleach erasers, varying the lengths, widths and opacity.

The image hose is pretty cool..my version doesn't come with very many, one of the things you are supposed to be able to do in the full version is make up your own brushes and image hoses. Have you tried that yet? Nice painting!

I like it! The vartions in size, lighting, and angle really give it a sense of depth.

I haven't tried to create any nozzles yet. Check your CD under a folder called 'Extras' or 'Goodies'. You'll find additional hoses and other painting tools. There are also a number of free nozzles available on the 'net. A good starting place is the computer art section at about.com. Lots of Painter links as well as for most other imaging programs.
