Sorry I haven't been around much or keeping up with the threads. I had one thought, though. Since there is a critique forum, maybe posting those kinds of things there instead of here would be useful to all involved? I wanted to ask what you digiartists thought. I was asked to moderate here, but I am not very active about that. Other moderators just move threads to the appropriate forum instead of asking the participants. I would rather ask you folks what you prefer.

I certainly don't mind them here and will try to comment when I have time! I just thought I'd mention those points in case anyone is looking for more feedback then they are getting.

Hope this finds everyone well!

Very good question Shriner, thanks for thinking to ask it! I'm of two opinions about this myself, but I'd love to know what everybody thinks too.

On the one hand, I think when people post digital art here, they're more likely to get the attention of the other digital artists (without answering the endless questions like 'Is this airbrush? Watercolor?'). Plus then it doesn't get buried nearly as fast as in the busy Critiques forum.

On the other hand, in the Critiques forum, it's more likely to be seen by many many people.

I guess it depends on what the artist is looking for? Input from our digital mini-community is definitely appreciated!

I agree with pixelscapes. I have only posted one thing to Critiques forum. I got some good information, but it was buried very quickly.

For digital art specific questions or opinions, I'd rather post here.

Actually, that is precisely what I was thinking, so glad to see you both write that. I thought there would be much more traffic, but I only posted on taht forum once (things do get buried really really quickly) and there probably aren't many people that are really digitally inclined.

I just felt bad that I haven't been here much and miss a lot of posts. I don't want anyone to be ignored! You folks are all so good about visiting often and leaving helpful stuff, though.

Just wanted to be sure! Thanks for the feedback and understanding!

I agree as well! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif I wish the critique forum was divided up into sections for different types of artwork.
