TeAnne,

What type of tablet did you get? I have wacom and love it... just wondering if it may be driver or configuration that is not working for you.

I have a Wacom, too. I love the control that it gives me. I also discovered that in Painter, I could draw, paint, etc. with either end of the stylus. Try it sometime, its funny how your perception changes when your drawing with the eraser end.

I agree with digistyle. The control and movement that you get from tablet wow.. I can paint (with color pencils) on computer and get the same strokes that I would on paper.. love it..

TeAnne, have you checked the web site for the company that you bought your tablet from they may have newer drivers for your tablet. just a thought.

good luck...

Great work with a mouse! Kepp posting! I like your textures, I have no idea how to do that. I haven't really learned the software yet - still just dabbling here! If your comfortable with your mouse and get the results you are after, why change?

I have used a tablet, with a puck, for years with AutoCad (mainly for convenience in accessing the command menus)but have never tried to do any art on the computer until recently. I have a Wacom Tablet now, (6" X 9")- I just bought it and love the thing!

Nice artwork -- I like the semi-symmetrical design. The mouse gives it all a soft look that is at odds with the bright colors... contrasts all around.

And, like the other people, I'm really curious what exactly you hated about your tablet. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Is it that it didn't feel right? Or was it more of a technical problem? Hope we can help!

The tablet's put away somewhere. I wont be using it. It also eats up the memory. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/frown.gif
