digital art

Really all I have done is used the Magic Wand tool to select areas and add fill color with hard light and used the Burn tool and Smug tool (sometimes in the Wet Paint mode) all done in PhotoShop. I did make a very large bush to Smug with. Iíd like to learn how to create my own textures but havenít made it that far yet. Any suggestion on how I could improve this pieces?

Little Bear,

I have to admit, conceptual and abstract art are not my strong suite, although I am learning to appreciate it. I have a cousin who also works in abstracts and he's schoolin' me http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif I like the use of colors in both, but I really like the way you teased and smoothed the shapes and colors in Photoshop.

As for textures, I wasn't sure if you meant bump maps or simulated textures. Either way, I have collected links to both. I'll look through my bookmarks and post some of them for you soon.

Thanks for sharing your work. Hopefully it will motivate others to start posting theirs.

I love the colours, sorry I can't help you with textures. I just play around. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif
