Hello all,

I entered the Digital Art Show sponsored by
bit by bit. Submitted my entry by the dead line. I submitted three prices of art work to them and was billed $25.00 for the entries which is cool that what their web site said would happen. Then "this" morning I checked my account and behold... I was charged again for my entry fee of $25.00. GOOD thing I checked today http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif. I have emailed them and have yet recieve a reply and will be calling them as soon as they open today.

This is a Warning for all who may have submitted entries to them... they will charge you twice for the same entry..

Let us know how it goes. I almost entered that show, but I didn't like the idea of paying a fee for a show so distant from me to people I didn't know much about yet.

Maybe I should have risked it.

Please post your experience with them, if you don't mind. Thanks!

EEEK!
I considered entering that one too, but I didn't feel ready right now to enter such a show.

Either way, it's good that you watched and paid attention to what they did with your entry fee! As I understand it there's quite a few somewhat less than legitimate art shows out there, with high entry fees... they sometimes don't even get around to actually displaying any artwork.

Not that bit-by-bit is necessarily in that category, but it's something to be aware of in general.

An update to bit by bit Digital art show...

after a few reminder emails (8 emails ) to them.. ( My thought, was getting to a point what DO I do now... they are not going to do anything with crediting my account with $25.00) I checked my account today and whala THEY credited my account with $25.00...

They fixed their problem.

took a while..

I'm glad. Even so, I hate to think how many other people they might have done this to... people who might not have noticed, or might not have been as persistent as you were.
