Here's a doodle of a tree that I had fun with, in pen on 300 lb. paper.

Lovely, looks like it was a windy day and it must have rained because 'his' hair has curled! LOL.

Hi Amanda, Rapolina and Chris,
It was very nice of you to comment.
I started this on my lunch break at work.
Unfortunately, I was working on cold press paper - a little too rough for the gelly roll pens.

LOL Nina, you crack me up sometimes:D You work well with long branches, how about giving us a peek at short bushes?

Hi Charissa and John,
Thank you both for commenting.
I crack myself up too, Charissa.
I seem to find trees very compelling images to draw.
This tree looks a little flustered today. Must be a very windy day. Nice movement of the branches.

Very nice! :) Have you thought about placing other subjects in your tree drawings? I think a funky old barn or cottage would go well with these, or maybe do a bunch of them together and have a funky forest!! :D:)

A funky forest is a terrific idea.
Good food for thought.
