This is the line drawing. Any suggestions how to frame this kind of delicate drawing without overpowering it? http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/23-Jun-2003/12259-braid.jpg

Me - I'd go for a double mount. Really wide white outer mount with a thin charcoal/grey inner mount with a soft mottled silver/charcoal frame. Nice, strong and simple to go with the style of the picture.

Really wonderful line drawing! I like to use black-core mat board for pen and inks.

I love these simple lined drawings, I agree about the black matting.

I tend to agree with Manda on this- i think a very thin inner mount would really bring it to life!

Thank you all.
I did try to put black around it and it is too strong of the contrast. I love Manda's suggestion and will try this one.

Thanks again - Jolanta
