The thoughtful/pensive pose here is gorgeous Jolanta, and I also like the use of the different techniques and how you have combined them. I must admit that I would never have thought to use red ink for such a soft subject but this has turned out really beautifully. Looks like I just learned to think outside the box!!:D Have you got any other coloured ink studies you can show?

Hi Manda,
Thank you so much for nice words.Since I didn't go to any art school I always follow my intuition. I probably brake all the rules most of the time but, I love to use whatever I have around and any technique to get what I want and get it fast. I don't have a patient and don't feel like working for very long time on one piece so I combine different strokes and am pleased with the way it works. So far I love red color. I just started to experiment with ink and already realised I will have to try different thickness of lines. Very thin lines look beautiful but when you step back some it is hard to see what it is . I am working on the series of line drawings and am very excited doing this. Here is another red scribblinghttp://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/23-Jun-2003/12259-redoldlady.jpg

Jolanta this is absolutely wonderful. I love the way you used the negative space and the different pen strokes really work well together. Beautiful composition.
Three different styles on the one page and every one a delight to view:clap:

You so kind!I like more and more to work with ink. It involves full concentration (even holding my breath) but it's worth it!!!
