Title: Summer's Serendipity
Dimension: 11 X 14
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!
My better half dislikes the barn wall behind the rabbit, my Thursday painting partner with a European background thinks it is fine like some of the old barns.
MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Need opinions. And any other critiques/help most welcome.

I love it and I think the barn wall adds to it a sense of place. I must say all paintings of soft brown rabbits warm my heart as they remind me of my favorite childhood books "The Velveteen Rabbit" and later in my teens "Watership Down".
I would however love to see a larger picture of the painting. :)

Lovely scene with lots of depths. Great technical skills and to me, a fine composition (I love to search for interesting details, there are a lot of it in your painting). The basket and cabbages and vegetables are keyrollplayers to me. The bag on the left in front lacks depth, I think. Because cabbages are so (well) detailled, the bag should be as well. The carrot has been eaten of ....? Looks like it's hollow.

It's a happy Saturday to see something from LB. The barn is cool. Suggest that the orange and red vegies could be muted to focus more attention on Thumper. And detail the bag a bit. Here's a photoshop.

All good suggestions and thanks for the comments. I happen to like the wall so it's a small win for my side  Will add some gel to the paint to detail the bag a bit more tg and will fill in the carrot a bit C1. I like rabbits too Bell - they hop in a few of mine from time to time. Thanks for looking, as always, it all helps

You could rename it "Food for a Year". very nice job. No critique.

I love this!! I wouldn't do too much more to it. I have a bunny hanging out in my yard that looks very much like this one. So far it has stayed out of the garden though. ;)

I love this too, and without the wall you would lose the charm and mood of the scene......the bunny hiding in the barn feasting on the goodies he found!!! What a colourful and precious bunny picture. =)) cheers Debs.

Aw! Darker rim on eye, that's all. He's rightly COI amidst his cache. So delightful.
