Lust

Hello All,

Well, she is not chocolate, but she could be part of the process!! This is Lust, and is supposed to be associated with the color blue and the cow. This was the lustiest picture of a cow I could find! I think she looks lusty....
Anyway, I didn't feel like painting her legs, so I put her in a field of grass....she looks like she's swimming! Ooops! My scan is lame, the picture is slightly darker in real life...I still think I can go darker though.
Envy, the last of the seven deadly sins, will be next!

something wrong with her nose...can't quite put my finger on it. Any help?

I see improvement in this series.......do you see it and feel it?

maybe it's the scan/photo but I feel it could use a bit more contrast in values especially in the foreground/background

I love the way she is licking her lips, and ogling the bull!!! Lust, indeed!!!! Great--I have loved this series!!!

Maybe there is something wrong with the nose (it's been a while since I got up close to a cow :) so I'm not sure), but I love the perspective on this one.

Great idea hiding the legs in long grass, too.

I think I must have missed a few of your pictures. The last one I remember seeing was sloth, which I think was #3 on the list.

Yeah, I can't figure out what's wrong with the face, I think it needs more definition above the nose. It was a cool picture, looks like she is kissing the camera...I added the tongue to make her look lustier!
Yes, mustcreate, I feel like I am improving! This has been a real fun project, but I am kind of anxious to do something with more colors....I have so many ideas. Only one more to go.

Do you think I should post mini's of all of them together in one last post at the end of the week?

I really like your cow! :D This has turned into a really interesting series. Yes, show them all together when you finish :D

Don't be too afraid of increasing the number of colours you use, the next step is 2 or 3, maybe alizarin and a blue and a yellow. Keep practising!

This is really a lusty image, especially with the expression in her eyes and the tongue. I think you could darken the mouth line a little more. It would define the tongue better and break that big expanse of the nose up close and personal like it is.

This series has been very interesting. Would like to see them all together as you mentioned.
