MY COMMENTS:
This is a bird house I painted for the Fuller Housing Foundation to auction off at their flights of fancy birdhouse auction.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
This is one of the most expressionistic pieces I have done. Do you think I should carry on with this type of style? Also any other critiques you can think of.

Nice birdhouse. As far as I'm concerned it's all up to you wether you try to develop this style or not. If you have fun during working on it, you should, and vice versa.
I like the sides of the house more than I like the roof. I think that you could paint the roof more integrated with the 'walls'. Like one painting, on both a straight and a tilted surface.
Parts of your work reminds me of Van Gogh's paintings (and I like his work a lot!). See what I mean?

Thank you for the advice! I got to looking at the pics and I got a creative music bug. So I sat down and composed a few quick measures of music. Took a couple minutes.

I'll add more, but it will be short and to the point. I'll try and upload a sound bit of me playing it.

God bless,
Tyler.

Hi Tyler, like the bird house
Bird Song?

One suggestion, treat the wood first, and then gesso it with a few coats. Then Varnish it will weather better and bring out the colours
