Hi Billy,
Depends on what you mean. Do you wish for a publisher to represent/print your work in low runs or self-publish? If the latter, any printer will do "short-runs" but for a price. I can recommend a couple of each type to investigate.

I can honestly understand Billy's frustration here. I have printed 500 prints of one of my drawings and at the cost of what I payed it looks like the other 10 or 15 drawings ready for print will have to wait. I am also seeking out alternate methods(Giclee and standard large format inkjet prints) to try on demand printing but then the price of the print will sky rocket. I hate the thought of passing that on to the customer.
It is like the preverbial rock and a hard place, self publish and you need to hit the lottery first or get published and take usually a smaller percentage of the total sale. Pen & Ink Art By RC Guthrie (http://www.guthrieart.com)

My company, Treasured Images and Art, Inc., does low-run printing. In fact, we recommend print on demand only. We have the latest equipment available. We do lithos, which we do not recommend. What we do recommend is the Giclee prints, which we print on canvas or on Arches watercolor, 200lb cold pressed, especially developed for our equipment. We have a 200 year lifespan on the inks. If you are interestd or need further information, give us a call at (352) 629-0205.

Billy:

I'm not sure what pricing you've gotten, if any, but I got this site from TPS. I've spoken to them on the phone and they are VERY helpful and, from what I've seen on the web, very inexpensive. I haven't used them yet, but here's their web site:

<A HREF="http://www.staplesart.com/">Staples Art</A>

They don't just use watercolor papers, they have several different types. Some warm, some cool. Nice variety. You can ask them for their brochure -- I found it very informative.

Hope this helps!
