Hi. This is my first legitimate post to this forum, and my first linocut since high school. I was also inspired by Humblee's work. I tried the printing on vellum and paint on the back method, but the vellum wasn't transparent enough, so I painted on the front. Sure enough the ink ran. I was thinking colored pencil would work better on the front.

I used a marble rolling pin for a press.

This was for a project in the Still Life forum.

If you use oil base relief paints then you can do washes of watercolor. That will give you some freedom by going outside the box, so to speak:D Keep showing your work in here. We would love to see it.

Hi Maverick,
a good place to find high quality vellum, check out your local scrapbook store or the scrapbook section at Micheal's craft store. Keep making more prints!
