Roadside botanical garden...

All of these were within 25 feet of each other on a narrow dirt road. There were plenty of specimens to choose from and shoot. Photographed about 45 minutes before sunset.

Anyone know what these "daisy-like" small flowers are? They are about the size of a dime.

All taken with the Coolpix 4500 at 1/250 or 1/500 and f.7 with 1/3 stop underexposed.

I love them all but don't remember the name of the little flower-I keep thinking Chamomile but that's not it-darn this oldtimer's disease! Anyway-why is the wheatgrass red in the daylily shot? Is that red or is a bleed over from the lilies?
My fave is the Q.A.Lace-I love that stuff in all it's stages! Nice shots!:D :cool: :clap: :clap:

Thanks. I took the shot in a rather reddish sunset, so that could account for it... and maybe, too, some bleed from the flowers. I didn't enhance the color only adjusted with curves. The color, due to the intense sunset, didn't need enhancing as I sometimes do with Fred Miranda's Digital Velvia... now here, however.

These are just georgeous. I love the light (evening glow).
I want to say "feverfew" for the small white flower, but not sure.

Thanks, Maria... I checked the feverfew and it's close but not quite. It looks a bit like Chamomile, but it isn't that either. I'm sure it's quite common whatever it is.

And the Queen Anne's Lace.

(Don't you guys have to deal with wind down there? I tried a few daisy shots this afternoon...and FORGET IT!! :( )
