If you're a movie buff, you'll know this scene from Breakfast at Tiffany's when Audrey is playing the guitar and singing. Classic.

I've been wanting to paint it for some time, so finally did.

It's 8x10 on Pastelbord with oil pastels, ink, and acrylics.

I like the look so far, and thinking it's pretty much done which is why some other's opinions might help out. My style is a mixture of Post-Impressionism to Expressionism or as I usually just explain to people, modern-Expressionist.

The body and guitar seems to work in my loose style, but the face is still off, IMHO. I'm thinking rounding out her chin and curving her lips up might do the trick.

In all, any C & C would be great. Thanks!

Your painting is great already, Cory. I love it. Your own suggestion of doing some rounding on the chin is neccesary, I believe, everything else I would leave. Instead of making more changes to the face, you could consider making some adjustments on the hand on the steel of the guitar. Also your painting shouldn't be anatomical correct, I see two pairs of two fingers with a deep cut in between.
My only 'crit': too bad this hand is leaning against the border of the canvas.
A truly great work!

Nice work, very close to the original reference.
Maybe as suggested a little rounding off on the chin, but honestly I think it fits your depiction as this is more angular.
Good work, caught the chord too :)
