Hey All,
I know I have been gone a long time and I apologize. However the roof fell in at the school where I was teaching this fall and everything just went downhill after that. However, school is out and I did pick up my camera again. Almost forgot how to turn it on! No kidding! Things have changed a lot around here and many new faces, I hope to get to know, glad to see a few of the old hands so I won't feel too strange. Here are some family portraits:D

Wanda, these are beautiful!
I'm sooooooo jealous that you can get such a great portrait of your black kitty...I really struggle to get one of my Billie that shows the beauty of her face but doesn't blow out the rest of her black fur.

Welcome Back Wanda!! I had been wondering where you had gone to...missed having my fellow UZier around!! These are excellent! Which camera were these taken with? Would you mind putting the two kitties in the RL? I need to add more cat drawings to my portfolio and these are exceptional!!
Hope to see more of you soon!!

Hey and thanx for the welcome back. Victoria, I have found that to photograph Het I need her to be in natural light . I have a door that has light spilling in during the mid morning. I set up a wicker picnic basket in the light and she naturally heads for her sunbath. Then I can snap away and have a chance.... sometimes.
Hey Dave, Julie and Cathy, the dog is with the UZ and the cats are with the D100, I think you can see the difference in the pixels or at least you can if you get up close. Its really funny, but I think I have to do more work on the D100 pics straight out of the camera than with the 2 meg cam. that was a shock! Cathy, you can draw these pics and I will try to get a chance to upload:D

Welcome back, Wanda! So sorry to hear about the school problems. Good grief! Bet you're especially glad to have summer vacation arrive.
The photos are wonderful. I can't decide which kitty shot I like best....they're both incredible in their own ways.
