I'm just this guy who's doing that thing of moving from one career to another. The ‘from’ part isn’t important, the ‘to’ part is to being a painter. I’m trying to hang onto an inventory of originals so that I can have some gallery showings locally, but I’d like to get into print reproductions. I don’t have a lot of cash at the moment to get lithos done, so I’m pretty much stuck with giclee prints. I’m just wondering if anyone out there has used print-houses that they’ve been really happy with, you know, been happy with the trueness of the prints, the quality of the dyes (so your works don’t fade after a year or two), cost, storage/archival, scanning, you know, the works. If anyone has done work with lithography places and has been really happy with the service they’ve received, that’s great too. Thanks for your help!

Hey,

I tried staplesart.com they were so fast, (I had a deadline) and they looked great!! They had me send the original (it was small) and they proofed for me since I needed it too quick for the turnaround time. After this printing was done, I checked aroound on prices (for next time) and they were just about the best priced (while still being reputable) They and most other companies will send you samples. So, check around.

Good Luck!! Sarah
