A beautiful rose. Tried scratiching it just in case but it didn't work :) Love how the second shot gradually recedes into shadow.

Is that a wee spider hiding in the second shot?

Carol...my favorite is the second shot! It's a beauty!

And don't you just love finding those "critters" on your macros? Yesterday, I took a couple of shots of something looks a bit like Queen Anne's Lace but much smaller. When I got home and opened the picture I was AMAZED to see whole "herd" of flying critters (probaby some kind of gnat) ALL OVER the flower heads. :D
