Alpine flowers from Yellowstone! Aren't they beautiful! That is my stompin ground as a child. Love these!

That first one is beautiful wth the water in it & the second is a very strange & wonderful looking flower! The third is also very strange looking! Great shots!:D :cool: :clap: :clap:

Thanks everyone-

And these are just the ones I had time to shoot at stops- I saw a bunch more along the roads, but didn't have time to stop.

Julie- the third one is not a flower, but something dried up from last years plant (an open seed pod?) I wasn't sure what it was either, but thought it looked cool nevertheless and had a neat translucence.
