Got a couple of Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pens in brown, and had to try them. One is the super-fine size (about a .25) and the other is a pen-brush. Lizard is in bistre conte. Size is about 10"x4".

Hi Monica :D This looks Great!! You have rendered the old log beautifully and the lizard looks really good - my only little suggestion is perhaps a little more contrast in the browns on the lizard just to help emphasise or enhance his importance too.
Cheers Dahzl :D

Thanks Dahzl and Seejay. :D Dahzl, I intended to go light on the log's pen marks, but got a little carried away. :D And then I couldn't make the lizard much darker, and then, well, you know. . .

Thanks, everyone! Murray, you will definitely see more. I'm working on a celtic-knot-mandala sort of thing, all in brown. I'm in love with my brown pen. My husband is ready to commit me to an insane asylum. Good thing he's out of town all week. Bwhaa-haa-haa.
