I love this! Good balance here and great color! Every time I look at it I think it would look so cool in a room with dark antique wood furniture. Fascinating shapes. Thanks for sharing it.

Yep, real paint. I even got some black gesso on my leg and some on my wife's neck whe I gave her a hug

To me this seems like it has ancient writing in it--layers of writing revealed under the strata of rocks. I really really like it!

Thanks Nina and Ama. This was a lot of fun. Well I got 3 canvas boards to play with. Time to see if I can uncover some more ancient writings.

Hey Mike! In addition to the choice of palette, I love the way you've contrasted circular and linear to balance. Vibrant, yet deep piece.

I agree this is wonderful, the black contrast is what really sets it off.

Thanks Luzie. I like working on the black canvas and it really helps in developing contrast.
