I took photos of the various wild "flours" at the various stops and camping areas that I stayed in WY and MT. Sorry I am so bad with knowing (or rather not knowing) any plants for IDing.

All flowers were shot ah-la-natural, ie no misting. The moisture is from nature :)

That second shot is stellar!! I love the composition and the framing on it - absolutely! Even the stripe of the shadow across the petal from the grass gives it a lot of personality.

I love the second shot from the bottom. The vibrant yellow and the petals leaving the frame give it a wonderful energy.

Cathy...what a wonderful variety of wildflowers! They are ALL simply gorgeous!

I LOVE the colors in the #4 shot!

Superb! The last three really do it for me. I love the water droplets.
Where would we be without the generosity of nature?

Absolutely Lovely!!!

I may try my hand at the last one. Its about the only flower shape I can draw at this point. Gotta work on those dew drops tho.

Just gorgeous! I love the melon colored Mallow! The last on-Forget-me-nots look wonderful with the water droplets! The second one is a terrific shot & an awesome wildflower! All pretty as a picture!:D :cool: :clap: :clap: :clap: Scenic trip for sure!

Funny I can ID about 200 breeds of dogs, 50 breeds of rabbits, 20 breeds of cattle and about the same of horses, sheep and pigs, plus umpteen wildlife...

but only about 5 flowers :(!
