Winter's snow brings peace, quiet and a time for contemplation of things to come and, hopefully, dreams to be fulfilled. I wonder what the Kestral was thinking?

Nicely done, Edith! A nice warm coat and I could slip quite easily into that scene.

Edith,

Very nice treatment of this subject. The lady is particularly nice and very appropriate. You really have captured a sense of peace and reflection in your painting.

Edith,

I really like this pianting for its sentimental feeling and soft style.

I took the liberty of digitally modifying it to suggest some possible changes that might make it more power still. I hope you don't mind and my hope is that you find it useful. If you have any questions about what I did, please let me know.

You have a nice feel for water color.

Now, i have a confession to make - i haven't replied to your comments because - silly old me - i have been looking for this painting in the watercolour section. it must be old age or just idiacy. the latter i think, don't you? thanks everyone. your comments are welcomed. Gene, you can improve on my work anytime. feel free.
