I have recently been given a Fuji S602 and I am in the process of learning to take photographs. Something I have noticed is that often the colour in my photo does not match the colour of the original subject. Is there away to adjust the how the camera sees the colours or are my eyes the culprit and the camera sees what is really there? Thanks for reading :)

I'm not familiar with Sony but there should be a white balance you can adjust. It will have settings for sunlight maybe cloudy, tungsten or flourescent. Set it for the condition & shoot!:D

I've got a fuji Finspix 2800 zoom, not as nice as yours :D as Sonny was saying the white balance could be the answer, I recently took some photos of tap running water and I had changed the white balance from auto balance to indoor bulbs, the next day I forgot to change back the white balance and the photos I took of lilacs - pink they came out blue  it took me a wee while to figure it out :D
hope this helps

Thanks, Sunny and Duncan :) I will give the white balance a change and see what happens. I came across reference to the white balance in the little how-to book that came with the Fuji but I did not really understand how it worked or what it did. :)
