O my gosh Sunny that is so totally cool. Wish I could have seen it. It's a cute little bambi. Could you tell if it was a boy or girl?

That must be one long driveway, that momma felt safe enough to do that there!! What a day, how ya gonna top that?

Shirl-Mama gets fed here all winter & we don't have a big dog anymore so they aren't afraid but she wouldn't let me closer than a coupl hundred feet. I didn't want to freak her out either. A friend came up my drive & came in the house telling me he saw it happen! About 200 ft. from my house. I WAS THRILLED!
Ozzie -My drive is 1380' long and I live in a bowl on top of a hill-We have a long ridge in our front yard.   :D

Pretty neat, Sunny. Lots of advantages livin' out in the sticks when it comes to wildlife photography, aren't there? Looks like a pretty small doe - wonder if it's her first.

Ray-There are disadvantages as well-like high unemployment & difficulty getting art supplies or anything else for that matter!
I think it probably was-sorry about the poor quality of these pics but it was getting dark and I was taking these as I was walking.:D

Sunny, that is just WAAAAAAAY too cool!!!! And here I was excited last night because two deer were eating at our neighbor's feeder in the backyard. Of course, I took pictures but they were all way too blurry. Pretty bad when a photographer starts getting too shaky, huh? ;)

Sunny, how wonderful! So happy you were there with your camera. I guess this makes you a deer god-mother. :D Thanks for sharing this lovely event.

Sunny, that's amazing!! I love living in the sticks don't you? This Island's covered with deer (no predators) & mostly I see them down munching on my veggies and plants~ very cute but...

If I were to take a walk in the woods after seeing these - I would be totally invisible, Sunny. I'm so green with envy. :D Yes, you were extremely lucky to have this happen in your driveway but, nevertheless, did a fantastic job getting these shots. That baby is sooooo cute.
