Purple Iris

I hope I'm putting this in the right place. An iris from my yard. They're gone now but I just got my film developed!:rolleyes:

Hi Zeichnen, I've never been in this part of the forum before, so I'm glad you told me you posted this lovely Iris! I love all flowers, but Iris is one of my favorites and this is a beautiful shot. :D

Hmmm, I hope you don't mind...I couldn't resist punching up the colors and brightness just a notch. Purple is my favorite color and I think this brings it out more. :)

Zeichnen, does it look ok on your monitor or too bright? Looks good on mine. I think this is a perfect Iris for you to draw in CP (hint, hint). :D You are so lucky to have such beautiful flowers like this in your garden!

Yep, finally ventured over here, hehe. But I wouldn't even know where to begin or which pics to show! lol All have to be cropped, resized, lots of work! :rolleyes:

You don't have to submit tons of pics all at once. One at a time would work!;) Some of those hibiscus pics you took in florida would be great! (hint)

Zee-Gorgeous Iris!! I like your version much better because the punched up version has blown highlights! Yours has very nice lighting,soft & looks like early or late day lighting-I like it!:D :clap: :clap: :clap:

Thanks Alan and Sunny for taking a look! And yes, Sunny, it was taken in the late afternoon when the sun was starting to get lower. I like that time of day for taking pictures.
