I was wondering what a beginning landscape artist should put on a Christmas List?

What medium would the list be geared for?

Yes, that would depend very much on your medium. But i do think that a really decent camera is a good start! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Animal,
I would choose one of those mediums and we can create a listing of what is needed. If the person requesting the items is not very experienced, purchasing supplies for each of these media areas could prove to be confusing, and tempt them to try them all at once, rather than make a study of one before adding another.

If on the other hand you'd like to give/get a "sampler" so this person could just dabble or try out the feel of different mediums, that's a different approach.

I am sure we can put together a listing based on which way you'd like to address it...
