Your pic can be straightened by a -3 degree rotate and a quick auto levels. I didn't want to post it because of your quote but I did copy it to see how it could be fixed. I also deleted it off after. I also think it would be lovely in a sepia tone to make it actually look the period but these are all just suggestions and you can take them or leave them. I assume this is a reenactment of some kind. Nice pic anyway!:D

I agree with Sunny that the photo would look better straightened - I don't think you should worry about posting advice like that, Sunny! With the new subforum, I like to think that this sort of advice will be given more often in the Darkroom! And you've certainly said it nicely, so I hope artistatheart appreciates your comments. :)

Join the club-most of us are over forty and some have more health probems than others! I wasn't trying to make you feel bad Karen-we all give each other advice on how to become a better photographer-we're never too old to learn, right? The Darkroom-which you are in is a sort of critiquing forum-the shutterbug pub is less so and more chatty. I know yoour new and so is the restructuring of the forum. Please don't be put off by it-post & post again but don't forget to also offer comment on others work.:D

Oh no Karen I'm sure that's not what was meant. It's just that personal stuff is s'pose to be posted in the Shutterbug forum and it's all new to us too, please don't take offense!Maybe the person that told you that need s a lesson in sublety or tact but they certainly didn't mean to offend you I'm sure!It wasn't because you're not a photographer. Please post again!:)
