View Full Version : Rainy's Misc. Sketchebooks

Decided to make a generic thread for items that don't fit into any of the other books. . . this was done last night in bed doodling around with text and stuff in an old Moleskine.

This one is from the window. . . looking across the field at my neighbors huge flag. Moleskine

That's a lovely doodle. Your neighbors must be pretty patriotic. I don't think the place I live would allow such a thing on a private residence.

Great looking bird there. That is one huge flag :)

Love the bird but the house sketch is wonderful!

Hey Rainy.

Good to see another thread by you. I'll be following along!

I especially like the tall palm in your sketch, it really represents
the look of a non-manicured palm growing wild.

Wonderful bird. Yup - looks like a BIG flag :)

I was happy to find another Rainy thread today when I finally decided I had to get back on the site, no matter how busy I am with other stuff right now. The sketch of your neighbor's house is excellent.

Thank you John, EP, Doug, Joan, Jacqui and Debby.

No more lunch break sketches this week, but I did manage to do these doodles while sitting outside as the dogs ran. I used pencil for the first time in a long while and decided again that I didn't favor it, so went back to pen for the last guy. Moleskine

the bird and the house with the huge flag are great :) were your people sketches from life? they catch a character.

Great sketches. The dog looks really good.

The dog is such a cutie. Pity about your lunchtime and break sketches not happening but you are still so dedicated. :)
