Hello,

Here are some photos to inspire you this week. Hope that you like one of them and look forward to seeing what you come up with!

This one I took yesterday when walking the dogs at the park.
I was going to take more but its hard to juggle a camera and multiple dog leashes:

Thanks Rainy. I am always fascinated by the face on Pug's. Those eyes have so much expression. Your park looks very nice. Great for you and the dogs.

Hello
I haven't been on here in a while...brought home my new baby tiel a week ago, he's been keeping me busy!
I was immediately drawn to the flamingo because yes, its a bird, but mostly because I saw the chance to use my current favorite ink color. I got it as a surprise in my Ink Drop packet a couple of months ago. I think I like it because its just like Quinacridone Coral WC paint, and I really like that color.
Not sure why...I'm a blue and green lover, not pink. But I like this ink "Fernambuk" by Rohrer & Klingner.

I was pleased I did not have to resort to a waterbrush to get the beak filled in. So it was all penwork.
Cheers,
D.

Dragoon, excellent use of that ink. Very well done - a pink flamingo in pink.

I love the color!
The not blending too well works, you can say you are using the 'broken color' technique. :D
Thanks for sharing!
