I was poking around on the web and found large print chain here in New England offering a print of a watercolor attributed to me. I have painted and sold many, many watercolor paintings of Rockport, Mass area, I don't believe this one they are offering is mine!
And if they are selling prints of my work in their 5000 +/- stores I didn't give them license or permission to reproduce any of my work and certainly haven't seen any royalties. Sure could use the $$ though :D
Any thoughts?

The link you give just goes to a google search page, so i can't tell which link you say are selling the prints.

I would contact the company and ask for more information about the artist first. There is a slim possibility of someone with the same name also doing artwork. Your last name is more unusual but it could happen! That's the first thing I'd do anyway. Then, if it appears to be you and you do NOT think this is a painting of yours you should contact them and let them know that it's been incorrectly attributed. You can't claim any compensation for violation of a copyright that doesn't belong to you, as far as I know. Delve a little deeper though and see who their artist is (supposedly) and all of the works they may be selling as prints under that name, just in case one is yours.

Actually, I followed the last link (where your name is highlight...duh, stupid me) and saw the painting. However, it doesn't actually attribute this painting to you on the web page itself. So i don't know where Google got the description text from...
