This could be a very complicated question. But first, what do you mean by "looks like an old graduation picture"?

Also, where are you getting the film processed? What sort of place is developing the film?

Hi Nolefty!
Your image name does not say if it is a Jpeg or Gif picture. It has to be saved in one of them, pref. jpeg.
And secondly, the colon have you added it to the name? It might also give problems. a: is the floppy units name on a PC. It should not be in the imagename.

I hope this will help.

hello, I am thinking that you mean the image is thin looking. Its been a long while but let me see if I can even figure this out without seeing the image.

Not enough contrast,i.e. weak looking like the black and white contrast is lacking.

What kind of film are you using as well. I always seemed to have this kind of problem because I did not develop it correctly.

Are you printing it yourself? if so expose it a bit longer to see if you can get a better image in the printing. Sometimes this is a way of compensating for a weak negative, but not always. Which brings to my mind, look at your negative and see if it looks thin and hard to distinquish the lights and dark areas. If you are exposing the shot correctly, I am of the mind its in the developing process.

Hope I did not confuse you futher. But please post so Rick the resident expert can help you.

still having problems posting your image or have you given up? I'm now VERY curious to see one of these images of which you speak. EricO.
