Hokusai is a very well known Japanese artist.
I hope you will take this opportunity to study some of his work. Make a copy , imitate his techinques, or just enjoy reading about and viewing his work.
One thing that comes across loud and clear is his love of artist creation and life forms. AND he studied everything!!!

I love your studies Robin, especially the umbrellas!!. I haven't looked much at Hokusai but I am inspired to look more. I agree -clean and beautiful design.

Neat wave, Tyree. I like the use of inks....special color that you can't get elsewhere.

glad to do this Geisha - ink - (the walnut ink is a new acquisition that is fun stuff!!! there is some bright orange gel pen on this but the scanner does not "do" gel pen well at all.
