Hokusai is a very well known Japanese artist.

I hope you will take this opportunity to study some of his work. Make a copy , imitate his techinques, or just enjoy reading about and viewing his work.

One thing that comes across loud and clear is his love of artist creation and life forms. AND he studied everything!!!

Here are a few images and a Wikipedia link for quick reference.

Hope we can do a few things inspired by this world class artist.

glad to do this Geisha - ink - (the walnut ink is a new acquisition that is fun stuff!!! there is some bright orange gel pen on this but the scanner does not "do" gel pen well at all.

Hope you all enjoyed visiting with Hokusai.:wave:http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/30-May-2012/88676-geisha361_copy.jpg
