Powder Kitten

Here is the next pastel I'm trying to finish after fighting with my lion pastel. It went a lot easier, anything standing out that needs to be corrected, please tell me. This is a 16 x 20 on velour. One thing I have learned doing these last two pastels is I'm probably way to heavy handed with my pastels on this paper. I put on so much pastel, it's hard to change things when I need too. Next picture I will try a lighter touch and see how it turns out. Velour paper is not very forgiving..... Thanks for looking... Sorry the photo isn't that great, it's dark outside and hard to get a good picture in the house.

Love the scene and you did a fantastic job on it. The only little nit is this: if you look at his tail, opposite side of the cat (same level) is a rock. I think the rock should not be on the same level as the tail. You do very lovely work and you say you have a "heavy hand with pastels".....heavy works!
